The position of the General Laborer is the entry level position into the plant. The person(s) selected for this position must be flexible and open to change in their day to day responsibilities and schedules as their job duties vary from day to day. Candidates must be able to work any shift, variable start times, including overtime, weekends and holidays if needed. _REQUIRED_
High school diploma or equivalent
Eligible to work in the United States
Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screen
Available to work shift work
Available to work weekends / holidays
Available to work overtime as needed
Willingness to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment
Willingness to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods (lifting, walking, climbing, pushing, twisting, stooping)
Willingness to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations
Must be willing to obtain a mobile equipment license and operate mobile equipment
Willingness to wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, ear plugs, hard hat, steel toe boots, etc.)
Willingness to work in a tobacco free environment
Willingness to sign a confidentiality agreement as condition of employment
_ Key Responsibilities_
Adhere to all plant environmental, health and safety guidelines, policies and procedures
Operate machinery to expected performance levels
Assist crew members and work in a team environment
Meet or exceed productin waste and quality goals
Assist with set-ups, troubleshooting and making minor machine adjustments
Keep work area clean before, after and throughout shift
