Essential Functions & Responsibilities
May be working team member with minimum of 25 % of time dedicated to team oversight
Identifies and develops workflow changes to meet quality standards__
Support strategic initiatives as requested__
Possess in depth knowledge of and provide operational support for tasks and job functions performed in areas of process improvement and project management including protocols, processes, policies, and procedures__
Reviews current policies and constructs plans to improve upon the existing quality standards__
Communicates quality concepts to clinic staff and providers__
Provides ongoing training and development to providers and staff members__
Participates in UPC wide trademark groups addressing quality
Prioritizes management of quality initiatives__
Reviews regulatory changes and develops plan to meet identified gaps
Deliver on deadlines for UPC and Pioneer initiatives through effective prioritization of team
Manage controllable expenses as assigned
Implement and sustain UnityPoint strategic initiatives i.e. GPRO, Medical Home
Partnering with physician leadership (s) on performance initiatives - Incentive plans
Manages provider and interdepartmental relationships with the assigned team members
Assures team development using evidence based principles (Studer)
Participate in annual budgeting process as directed
Follows the protocols and policies in decision making
Identifies and resolves operational issues
Identifies, resolves day to day issues related to position of oversight

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
