Food Safety and QA Technician

Verifying quality parameters to ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, cGMPs, USDA, FDA regulations;
Auditing and support of food safety, quality, feed and Animal Welfare programs;
Physical, chemical and microbiological testing, equipment swabbing, and environmental monitoring.

EDUCATION: 4-year degree preferred, but not required; Food Science, Biology, Microbiology or related disciplines preferred.

Entry level position, but some experience in a food processing environment is preferred;
Experience in food production, animal agriculture, food processing, medical or pharmaceutical industries is a plus;
Good communication skills;
Computer proficiency in MS Suite is a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
