Seeking qualified individuals or teams who want to run their own crew as an independent contractor in the Fort Dodge and surrounding area. (This is year round work)
Basic tools needed; Suitable work vehicle, gas air compressor, (generator if your air compressor is elect) cordless tool sets are great, large assortment of hand tools, ladders- big and small, (no lawn equipment should be electric) lawn equipment-big and small mowers, string trimmer, leaf blower, hedge trimmer, chain saw, pole saw, trash trailer; (tandem axle 12' to 16' is preferred). Some of these items can be acquired as you go. We are transitioning into lawn care season in the next 30 days.
This is a simple line of work if you have a good work ethic, plenty of energy, able to organize and manage yourself, able to read and follow client instructions,.
Work and Job-types vary, but at minimum you should be able to complete grass cuts, snow removal, winterization (plumbing test and shut down), lock changes, boarding, damage inspections, window repair, debris removal (trash out), and general repair work. We have a ride along program to help people transition into this industry. If you have the skill and background we can show you the rest.
Nothing we do is very fancy, for those of you who are custom remodelers, cabinet builders this may not be a good fit. This is 80% labor and 20% skilled trades. Roofing and plumbing equipment and experience is a plus.

Background checks are big in this industry. Most felony convictions will disqualify you.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
