A Marketing Specialist position is available with Iowa Central Community College located in Fort Dodge, Iowa. The duties of this position include: Prepare reports and materials to promote the athletics department's programs, teams, personnel and on-campus events. Seek and provide information to help students and non-students learn about the athletics department and become involved. Gather data on competitors and analyze their method of marketing and distribution. Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls or questionnaires or arrange to obtain existing data. Measure and assess student and faculty satisfaction. Monitor school-wide statistics and follow trends in the athletics department to be able to create innovative and dynamic publicity plans. Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies. Attend staff professional development to provide management with information and proposals concerning press and media communications.
Bachelors Degree in Speech Communication or equivalent with demonstrated educational or work experience in the Athletic Field and 2 years relevant experience required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
