Salary 80K - 100K
Developing systems and programs for maintaining machinery, equipment and facilities for food processing operation;
Ensuring safe and efficient operation of processing machinery and equipment;
Directly supervising maintenance department personnel;
Developing maintenance and installation policies and SOPs;
Identifying and correcting mechanical problems to reduce down-time and improve processing efficiencies;
Purchasing, storing and tracking hand and power tools for use by the department;
Developing a parts inventory system using CMMS;
Providing safety and other required training for maintenance technicians.
Education: 2-year degree or higher required.
Required Skills:
5
years of experience supervising maintenance technicians;
Experience in the mechanical repair and maintenance of food processing equipment;
Strong preventive maintenance experience including developing and improving PM programs;
Strong experience and knowledge in PLCs, electrical, welding, fabrication, ammonia-glycol refrigeration systems, boiler operation, etc.;
Experience using CMMS systems;
Experience managing installation and maintenance projects from start to finish.
